Search & Social Media: Being Found Online

Social media network sites (Twitter, FaceBook, etc.) are playing a bigger and bigger role in how businesses are being found online and how people are making purchasing decisions over the Internet.

As search engine optimization and social media are becoming more and more intertwined, it is imperative for businesses to know how people are searching and finding information online and how businesses can better control their website’s search engine rankings and online presence.

In this hour long seminar, attendees learned how search engines are incorporating social media websites into their search results and what that means for website rankings. They learned how to integrate social media tools and widgets into their website and how these tools can work together to save time and effort. They also learned how blogging plays a role in being found online, and how to market a blog through other social media channels.
